Cache is almost "in the can", so to speak! I have every intention of finishing up the first cut this weekend. I can’t imagine that anything would get in the way. I have really enjoyed working on this one. Having 4 different cameras shooting definitely makes it easier in that there is always a good shot to use. The downside is all that HD footage makes my computer chug, chug along. I need an upgrade! It has been a breeze working on this with Bill. I send him the footage, he says it’s “great!” I keep on working.
I am hoping to premier Cache in Charlotte this October at the Geek Gala's first annual Geek Horror Short Film Festival. Our very own Scary Carrie Jones will be hosting, and Adrenalin will play a big part. Look for the page for festival info and submissions on here. It will be 5 hours of short films, indie panels, etc. Submission is only $15 and we are splitting it with the Geek Ball 50/50 to raise money for their charity. Our half will go toward the awards for the filmmakers.
Fix It In Post is coming along nicely, the script that is. Bill and I have pounded out a really good start. This is probably the easiest thing I have ever written. Using our own crew as the main characters, it practically writes itself. And if you have been on the set with us you know it will be hilarious with everyone’s natural comedic abilities being taken full advantage of. Mad Ones Films crew will also be joining us as nemisis to our fictional film company "Manic Mojo Productions".
Of course we have a FB page up for Fix It too, www.facebook.com/fixitinpostthemovie. Please “like” it to have access to all the latest info on this production. We have already posted an event asking for extras for our September 29th and 30th trailer shoot. We will be whoring this project around raising money for at least the next year so there will be MUCH more posted on this subject.
Aside from Adrenalin I’m really excited to have my female run production company under way. Sick Chick Flicks is something I’ve wanted to do for ages! And judging from our first meeting we will be kicking some major cinematic ass. We will be shooting our first short film “Mother” September 8th and 9th in Bunn, NC. Mother is a psychological ghost story that I think people will both relate to and enjoy. I am really looking forward to working with these gals.
Between Cache and Mother I hope to finish editing an excellent show that Adrenalin shot for Alamance County Arts, Midsummer Nights Dream. If it looks half as it good as I think it will it should make a very nice DVD.
It’s been a very busy and productive couple of months. By the end of 2012 Adrenalin will have produced 4 short films with one feature under way. Let’s hope that EMP doesn’t really hit us December 21st 2012 or Fix It In Post may become a documentary.Web Toolbar by Wibiya

Back from ConCarolinas and wow what a great weekend! One thing we all really love about that con is just how well the panels are attended and how enthusiatic everyone is about what we do. The film festvial was great as well. It gets better and better every year with some really diverse and interesting films. Tougher competion too. Still we did manage to snag an award for "Best Explosion" for our film "The Ghastly Ghostly Gas".
Right now Adrenalin Production is in post for it's short film Cache Me If You Can. We wrapped shooting last weekend. It stars Emlee Vassilos from A Few Brains More and a newcomer to Adrenalin Rober Craft. Robert drove all the way out from Kentucky to be part of our movie! We love his enthusiasm and we know you will all enjoy his performance. This was the first time directting for Bill Mulligan who also wrotte the screenplay. I have to say it was hard not jumping in and letting someone else take the reins. But it was fun just being the DP and editor on this.
We also just finished our first production meeting to nail down the trailer we will be shooting to drum up interest in our next feature film Fix It In Post. This one is going to be a blast and a half. We are going to need a ton of extras on this film so I'm hoping some of our AFBM extras will jump in and help us out. Anyone who would like to chip in a few dollars to get us started, click on the donate option on the sidebar. We will be launching an official Kickstarter campaign soon when we get the trailer finished. Anyone who donates up to $25 on here will get a credit at the end of the film and anyone donateing more than that will get a DVD.
So that's the news for June, next weekend 48 hour film festival. Yay!
